Dorothy L. Mcfadden

Dorothy L. McFadden, 70, of Davenport, died Sunday, September 21, 2008 at the Kahl Home for the Aged, Davenport.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery, Davenport. Memorials may be made to the family.
Dorothy was born May 19, 1938 in Davenport, the daughter of Walter W. & Clara A. (Collins) McFadden. She had done volunteer work for Goodwill Industries in Des Moines, Iowa and for the Handicapped Development Center in Davenport.
She enjoyed working with her hands, doing puzzles, playing bingo and fishing. She had also made colorful potholders for her family and friends over the years.
Those left to honor her memory include her sister, Mary Lou Agan, of Davenport; her brothers, Art (Donita) McFadden, of Davenport, Warren (Eva) McFadden, of Des Moines, and Charles McFadden, of Des Moines; several nieces & nephews; and several great nieces and nephews.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Norma Jean; her brothers, Bob, Don & Jack; her niece, Viola White; her nephews, George Hahn, Jr., Scott McFadden & Roland McFadden; her sister-in-law, Darlene McFadden; her brother-in-law, Jerry Agan; her great niece, Brianna McFadden and her great-nephew, Chad Dugan.
