Douglas Parrett

Funeral services for Douglas “Keith” Parrett, 68, of Davenport, formerly of Maysville, Iowa, will be, 3:00 pm on Saturday at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf. A private family burial will follow at Walcott Cemetery, Walcott, Iowa. Family will greet friends on Saturday from 2:00 pm to service time at the funeral home. The family asks friends to dress casual.

Keith passed away on Monday, March 29, 2021, at his home in Davenport. Douglas was born on March 20, 1953 in Middletown, Ohio, the son of Olin and Martha (Hoskins) Parrett. He married Marilyn Wilkinson on October 26, 1973 in Middletown, Ohio. Keith worked at Red Jacket as a Millwright, retiring in 2002.

Keith enjoyed hunting, camping and fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife Marilyn of Davenport, children; Jason (Julie) Parrett of Bettendorf, Jessica (Dave Goodner) Patton of Davenport, Jaclyn (Jamie) Welk of Davenport, 14 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild (with 2 on the way), and a sister; Claudia (Ralph) Anderson of Lebanon, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
