Dwight D. Katzenburger, 54, of Bettendorf, died Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus, Davenport.
A celebration of life visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
Dwight was born October 5, 1956 in Rushville, Illinois, the son of Frank & Frances (Jones) Katzenburger. Dwight was married to Michelle Tolin in April of 1984 and they had two daughters, Sheena and Heather.
He was an over-the-road truck driver for twenty-seven years and then drove for Wes Kuehl, Sr. for ten years, retiring in 2000.
Those left to honor his memory include his long-time companion of twenty-three years, Laurann Stephens; his daughters, Sheena Katzenburger and Heather Katzenburger; his sisters, Wilma Jordan & Vi Moore; his brother, Kenny Katzenburger, Sr.; his nieces, Tina, Shelly, Sherry, Pam, Heather & Amy; and his nephews, Kenny, Jr., Gene, Billy, Russ, Ron, Brian & Kevin.
Dwight was preceded in death by his parents; one sister and seven brothers.
