Edward Bloss

Edward D. Bloss, 57, of Davenport died Friday, October 08, 2004 at his residence. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, October 12, 2004 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Chapel, Bettendorf. The family will greet friends one hour before the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oakridge Cemetery, Princeton, Iowa.
Ed was born June 20, 1947 in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Edward and June (Frickelton) Bloss. He was primarily employed as a roofer. During the Vietnam Conflict, he served in the Navy.
Those left to honor his memory include his daughter, Amie Bloss, Bettendorf; his mother and stepfather, June & Bob Grip, Dewitt, Iowa; his brother and sister-in-law, David & Nancy Bloss, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; his niece, Cathy Mohr & his nephews, Anthony Mohr & William Mohr, all of Bettendorf; and his special friends, Cindy Harkey and Brian Simmons, Davenport.
