Edward M. Randolph, 82, of Bettendorf, died Sunday, January 27, 2008 at Bettendorf Healthcare Center, Bettendorf.
There will be no services or visitation and burial will be private.
Edward was born January 12, 1926 in LeClaire, Iowa, the son of Daniel J. & Lelia M. Sticher. He was united in marriage to Shirley L. Suiter on September 29, 1945 in Rochester, New York. She preceded him in death on November 17, 2001.
Edward retired in 1987 from Alcoa Company, Davenport Works after 25 years of employment. During World War II he served in the Merchant Marines.
He was a member of the Moose Lodge #235, East Moline, Illinois and the National Rifle Association. Edward was an avid reader and enjoyed doing crosswords, he also enjoyed hunting, watching Jeopardy every day and NASCAR races.
Those left to honor his memory include his five daughters, all of the Quad-City area. In addition to his wife, Shirley, he was preceded in death by his parents.
