Eldon Isenberg

Eldon "Bun" Milton Isenberg, 89, of Davenport, IA, died Tuesday, February 5th, 2013, at Trinity Hospital, Bettendorf. He was buried at Davenport Memorial Park. A celebration of his life will be held at 2 PM Saturday February 9th at 1502 Clay St., Davenport. Eldon was born November 24, 1923 in Davenport to George R. and Lizzie (Meyers) Isenberg. After serving as a gunner’s mate in the Navy during WWII, he married Clemma June Isenberg on March 28, 1947. He worked at John Deere until retiring, and spent many happy years fishing, baking, and playing a variety of guitars and other instruments. He is survived by his son Edward Isenberg and his sister Lois Shreves. He was preceded in death by one sister Alma Thompson, and brothers George and Onno.
