Ellen Brammann

Funeral services for Ellen Louise Brammann, 77, of Davenport, will be 1:00 pm on Friday at Chambers Funeral Home, Eldridge, Iowa. Burial will follow at the Rock Island National Cemetery, Rock Island, Illinois. Family will greet friends on Friday from 12:00 pm to service time at the funeral home.

Ellen passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at her home in Davenport, Iowa. Ellen Hem was born on February 15, 1944, in Ottumwa, Iowa, the daughter of Charles and Rosa (Bauger) Hem. She married Richard Brammann on March 22, 1969, in Davenport. He preceded her in death on January 6, 2004. She worked at Creative World Daycare in Davenport, Iowa. She enjoyed drawing, camping, fishing, making jewelry, and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her children, Rosanna (Josh) Stock, Antoinette (Brad) Badure, Chelle (Terry) White, all of Davenport; nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; her sister; Charlene Brandenburg of St. Louis, MO, and brothers, Larry Hem of Davenport, Iowa and Richard Hem of Agency, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and son, Terry Brammann.
