Ellen Johnson

Ellen Mae Johnson, (Fullmer, Mitchell) 49, of Moline, Illinois, went home to Jesus on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus in Silvis.

Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held at 4:00 p.m., Friday, January 31, 2014 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf, Iowa.  Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the services on Friday at the funeral home.  Inurnment will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 3, 2014 at the Rock Island National Cemetery in Rock Island, Illinois.  Those wishing to attend the service should meet at the funeral home by 10:30 a.m. on Monday.

Ellen was born July 21, 1964. She was united in marriage to Lawrence J. Johnson on June 15, 2013 in Nashville, Tennessee. She loved her family and was like a mother to those she met.  She had a passion for her grandchildren and will be missed.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Larry, of Moline; her first husband David Mitchell of Branson, Missouri and father to Robert Mitchell and his wife Bai Thao-Mitchell of Nashville and grandchildren Noelle and Noah; and daughter, Brandy Lee & her husband Cecil Helton of Harrison, Arkansas and granddaughter Audree Mae; her parents, Bill & Ginny Fullmer of LeClaire, Iowa; her sisters & brothers, Annette Fullmer of Davenport, Theresa (Dale) Gimm of Davenport, Cathie (Kenny) Boyer of LeClaire, Vickie (Bob) Fullmer of Davenport, John Fullmer of LeClaire, Jim (Una) Fullmer of Branson, Missouri, Carmen Kilburne of Davenport and KayLynn Fullmer of LeClaire; Larry's sons, Larry (Theresa) Johnson of Pontiac, Illinois and their sons, Mark and Andrew; and David Johnson of Bloomington, Illinois and his son, David; her sister-in-law, Margaret (David) Light of Yorkville, Illinois and their sons, Steven and Daniel; a very special friend, LoRita Curtis of Branson, Missouri; many nieces and nephews; and her dog, Hercules.

Ellen was preceded in death by her parents; Barbara & David Falbe; and her sister, Debbora Fullmer.
