Emily J. "Chom" Sund

Emily J. “Chom” Sund, 66, a resident of Davenport, Iowa passed away on Monday, April 7, 2008 at her home.
A service to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, April 14, 2008 at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Chapel in Bettendorf. Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family.
She was born July 23, 1941 in Madison, Wisconsin, the daughter of Roland V. & Constance M (Johnson) Sund.
Emily was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend. Reading, shopping and cooking were some of her favorite activities and she loved the time she spent with her children and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.
Those left to honor her memory include her daughters, Cathy (Tom Schrupp) Holzner and Cindy (Kirk Keefer) Cinkovich, all of Davenport; her sons, Christian Cinkovich of Austin, Texas, Stephen Cinkovich of Bettendorf and Andy (Jill) Cinkovich of Lowden, Iowa; six grandchildren; her sisters, Heather (Jack) Sund-Smith of Moline, Illinois and Toni Sund of Davenport; and her brothers, Jon (Lydia) Sund of Jacksonville, Florida, Roland Sund of Davenport and Scott (Gail) Sund of Walcott, Iowa.
Her parents preceded her in death.
