Enemecio Terry Ramirez, 53, of Davenport, died suddenly on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus, Davenport.
Funeral Services & Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Bettendorf. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf. A Christian wake Service will be held at 4:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the church. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park.
Terry was born July 16, 1956 in Lansing, Michigan, the son of Graciano & Antonia (Romero) Ramirez. He had been employed at the Rock Island Arsenal as a parts cleaner.
Terry enjoyed motorcycling, golfing, and spending time with his family and friends. He also had excellent mechanical and carpentry skills.
Those left to honor his memory include his daughter, Christina (Dewey) Hattenbach, of Rockport, Texas; his son, Jason Johnson of Davenport; his grandchildren, Caleb & Addison; his sisters, Maria (Buck) Miller and Norma Zamora of Bettendorf and Carmen Ramirez of Davenport; his brothers, Yesical (Judy) Ramirez, of Springfield, Ohio, Carlos (Daphne) Ramirez and Ralph Ramirez, of Bettendorf, and Graciano (Heather) Ramirez, Jr., of Corpus Christi, Texas; twenty nieces and nephews; and nineteen great-nieces and nephews.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Paul Ramirez.
