Eric Christopher Jackson, 31, a resident of Davenport, Iowa died on Thursday, October 18, 2007 at the Clarissa Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf, Iowa following an extended illness.
His funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Chapel, Bettendorf. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family.
Eric was born March 6, 1976 in Tampa, Florida, the son of Richard & Linda (Hoffmann) Jackson.
Among the things he enjoyed were riding his Harley, listening to music, drawing and playing the guitar.
Those left to honor his memory include his parents, Linda & Victor Obertance of Davenport; his sisters, Angela (Antonio) Rodriguez of Moline, Illinois, Mary Obertance of Moline and Emily Obertance of Davenport; his brothers, Victor (Bree) Obertance of Davenport and Doug Obertance of Moline; his grandmother, Ilo Malik of Bettendorf; eight nieces & nephews; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and wonderful friends.
Eric was preceded in death by his brother, Kurt; and by his father, Richard.
