Erma S. Rodruck, 98, a resident of Bettendorf, Iowa passed away at her home on Monday, January 15, 2024.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 26, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at the Rock Island National Cemetery. Those wishing to attend her service should meet at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf by 10:30 A.M. on Friday, January 26th. Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Pleasant Valley, Iowa.
She was born in Burlington, Iowa on March 21, 1925, the daughter of Wilfred and Vera (Wehage) Beckman. On May 19, 1957, she was united in marriage to Ronald C. Rodruck in Burlington. He preceded her in death on April 25, 1997.
Erma worked as a beautician for many years and also sold Avon for 40 years where she was a member of the President’s Club.
She was a devoted member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Pleasant Valley for many years, enjoyed her many Avon customers, volunteered as a poll worker and spent many hours volunteering for Luther Manor.
Those left to honor her memory include her daughter, LeAnn (Brad Truman) Fox of LeClaire; her sons, Alan Rodruck of West Des Moines, Iowa and Todd Rodruck of Bettendorf; her grandchildren, Jason (Amy), Jami (Steve), Taylor, Annie, Alex and Will; six great-grandchildren; and her sister, Ruth Reif of New London, Iowa.
Her caregivers & grandchildren, Jason & Amy Fox deserve special recognition for their loving and tender attention shown to her during the past seven years.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Earl Beckman and Ervin Beckman.
