Evangeline “Angie” Stock, 83, died on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at St. Mary’s Healthcare & Rehab Center in Davenport, Iowa.
There will be no services at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home of Bettendorf, Iowa is assisting the family with arrangements.
She was born in Moline, Illinois on November 16, 1930, the daughter of George and Cecilia (Black) Soterion and was a graduate of East Moline High School. On September 29, 1957, she was united in marriage to Ross Russell Stock in Davenport.
Angie was a member of the LeClaire Baptist Church of LeClaire, Iowa.
Those left to honor her memory include her daughter, Christy Johnston and her children, Kristen Johnston, Erick Johnston and Jamie Johnston, all of Davenport; her son, Tim (Nancy) Stock and his children, Ty Stock and Rebecca Stock, all of Bettendorf; her sister, Kathrine (Bill) Shaner of East Moline, Illinois; and several nieces & nephews.
Angie was preceded in death by her parents; her step-mother, Katrina Soterion; her brother, Charlie Fucik; and her sister, Helen Evans.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Hospice Compassus and St. Mary’s for making their mother’s passing peaceful.
