Evelyn R. Claussen

Evelyn B. Claussen, 69, a resident of Eldridge, Iowa and more recently of Jersey Ridge Place in Davenport and Manor Care Nursing Center in Davenport died on Monday, November 26, 2007 at Manor Care.
Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at the Chambers Funeral Home in Eldridge. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Faith Lutheran Church of Eldridge where she was a member.
She was born August 21, 1938 in Davenport, the daughter of Edward & Bertha (Wulf) Holtz. On September 26, 1964, she was united in marriage to Delmar A. Claussen in Eldridge. He preceded her in death on October 31, 1983.
Evelyn was a homemaker and enjoyed dining out with her family & friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Janelle Claussen of Eldridge and other distant relatives.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.
