Forrest D. Schumann

Forrest D. Schumann, 43, of Davenport, died Sunday, September 21, 2008 at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus, Davenport.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Thursday, September 25, 2008 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Rock Island National Cemetery, Rock Island, Illinois. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
Forrest was born March 15, 1965 in Davenport, Iowa, the son of Dale & Helen (O’Boyle) Schumann. He entered the United States Army in 1984 and was honorably discharged in 1986. Forrest was employed by Xpac of Milan, Illinois as a forklift driver.
Forrest enjoyed storm chasing, fishing and he was a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs.
Those left to honor his memory include his mother, Helen, of Davenport; his sister, Kathy (Bob) Palmer, of Moline, Illinois; his brother, Dan Lackey, of Bettendorf; five nieces; numerous great nieces and nephews; an extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins; and his life-long friend, Phillip Wellmeier.
Forrest was preceded in death by his father; and his grandparents.
