Frances Almedia Hahn

Frances Almedia Hahn, 76, of Hampton, Illinois, and formerly of Bettendorf, Iowa, passed away suddenly on Monday, January 21, 2008 at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Friday, January 25, 2008 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday evening at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Genesis Hospice, Alzheimer’s Association, or a charity of the donor’s choice.
Frances was born August 28, 1931 in Pleasant Valley, Iowa, the daughter of Sidney & Stella (Florence) Brockhage. She was united in marriage to Floyd David Hahn on March 17, 1951 in Davenport.
She retired from Alcoa Works in Bettendorf in 1987 after 14 years of employment. She enjoyed camping, wintering in Texas and listening to her husband sing. Her family meant the world to her and she was a very proud grandma and great-grandma. She also attended Moline Gospel Temple.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Floyd David; her daughters, Brenda L. (Herb) Hoke, of Bettendorf and Karen K. (Ted Laake) Carsell-Laake, of Davenport; her sons, Gary D. and Kelvin F. (Angela) Hahn, both of Davenport; her grandchildren, Jessica (Shane) Farnum, Natalie Hoke, Rachel & Kimberly Carsell, Heather (Steve) Harvey, Zachary, Ryan, and Brandon Hahn, and Tim Holst; and her great-grandchildren, Isabel & Madison Farnum, and Addison Hahn.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert & Leon.
