Obituary: Frances M. “Fran” Sourdiff

Frances M. “Fran” Sourdiff, 67, a resident of Davenport, Iowa died on Sunday, March 29, 2009 at her home.
Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Chapel, Bettendorf, Iowa. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family.
She was born October 9, 1941 in Des Moines, Iowa, the daughter of Lloyd W. & Stella (McKnight) Tague. In 1961, she was united in marriage to Richard R. Sourdiff in Davenport. Although they were later divorced, they remained good friends throughout the years.
Fran was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan and enjoyed her daily get-togethers for coffee with her friends. She was a collector of penguins, enjoyed crafts & crocheting and was an active member of the “Spring Street Munchables.”
Those left to honor her memory include her daughters, Jill (Larry) Sourdiff of Davenport and Jenee (Tony) Angeli of Pawnee, Illinois; her grandchildren, Erik, Thomas & Tre Angeli, Jenna (Mike) Cooksey and Ryan & Travis Venden; her sister, Charlotte (Craig) Hayes of Bountiful, Utah; her brother, Stuart “Bud” (Diane) Tague of Roy, Utah; her nieces & nephews, Shelly, Rene, Chris, Angela, Carrie, Cameron & Chandra; and her beloved Chihuahua, Taco Joe.
Her parents and her brother, Jay Brasier preceded her in death.
