Frank Arguello

Frank A. Arguello, 72, of Bettendorf passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2023. A Celebration of Life event will be announced at a later date.

Frank was born on June 9, 1950, in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of David and Alice (Mason) Arguello. On April 11, 1969, he married Deborah “Debbie” L. Schieberl. Frank graduated from Bettendorf High School in 1968 and graduated from St. Ambrose University in 1977 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting/Business Administration.

Frank served in the U.S. Army, Company H (Ranger), 75th Infantry (Airborne), during the Vietnam War. Frank volunteered for and became a member of the elite Long-Range Reconnaissance Patrol (LRRP) Ranger unit in Vietnam.

Frank was a career federal employee and retired as an Accountant and Program Analyst from the Rock Island Arsenal.

Those who are left to honor his memory are his sons, Eric Arguello, Nathan Arguello, and Joshua McLaughlin-Arguello. Frank was preceded in death by his wife, Debbie, in 2017 and his daughter Shannon in 2003. He also was preceded in death by the family dogs Lucky, Jerzee, and Dandy.
