Gary G. Carber, 66, of Moline, Illinois, died Tuesday, February 7, 2006 at his residence. Per his request, there will be no services or visitation and cremation rites will be accorded. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf is assisting the family with arrangements.
Gary was born June 11, 1939 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of George F. & Annetta S. (Jensen) Carber. He was retired from the former Caterpillar Works in Davenport after 22 years in human resources.
Those left to honor his memory include his children, Cathie Carber, Lynne Carber, Brent Carber, Gregory Carber, all of Bettendorf, and Brian Carber, of Davenport; his mother, Annetta, of Clinton; and his sisters and brothers-in-law, Janet & Dick Spain, of Centennial, Colorado, and Patricia & Robert Reed of LeClaire, Iowa.
