Gayla J. Smith, 58, a resident or Davenport, Iowa died Saturday, May 12, 2012 at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, Iowa.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, June 29, 2012 at Parkview Lutheran Church, Parkview, Iowa. Memorials may be made to the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House or Parkview Lutheran Church.
Gayla was born on April 10, 1954 in Edgerton, Wisconsin the daughter of Del D. and Esther L. (Jaschek) Harrison. She was united in marriage to Bruce G. Smith on June 11, 1981 in Rock Island, Illinois.
Those left to honor her memory include her parents, Del and Esther Harrison, Long Grove, Iowa; her sister, Judy (Phil) Specht, Davenport; her brother, Gregg Harrison, Houston, Texas; her six nieces and nephews; her two great-nieces and her dog, Estee.
