After retirement, he and Jane returned to the Quad-Cities where he enjoyed a dining-out group which had been together for over 45 years. He also enjoyed his weekly golf group and several regular breakfast gatherings.
His favorite joy was to be with his family and the many traditions that came with the holidays. For many years, the family enjoyed summer trips to Minnesota and in the winter, skiing vacations were always a favorite activity. He will be very much missed by his family and friends.
