Gloria L. Guin, 69, a resident of Davenport, Iowa died Friday, August 21, 2009 at Manor Care Utica Ridge, Davenport.
Services for Gloria will be private. McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf, Iowa is assisting the family with arrangements.
Gloria was born April 8, 1940 in Jena, Louisiana the daughter of Erastus and Marie (Hamous) Guin.
She enjoyed music, traveling and being with family.
Those left to honor her memory include her daughter, Tanya Thompson of Davenport; her sons Terry Wayne Jackson and Tim (Vicki) Thompson both of Davenport; her grandchildren, Christina Keilman, Gabriel Jackson, Shiloh Jackson, Dawn Charles, Jeremy King and Mathew King; her great-grandchildren, Tyler, Kaylie, Aiden, Amy, Angelica and Alicia; her sister Shirley Lawrence of Portage, Indiana and her brother, Oliver “Bo” Guin of Fort Worth, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, Joyce, Barbara and Elaine and her grandson, Jeremiah Jackson.
