Harold Sade

Harold Dean Sade, 71, a resident of Davenport, died Friday, February 26, 2016 at his home.
Funeral services celebrating his life will be held at 12 Noon on Monday, February 29, 2016 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf. Burial will be at Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services on Monday. Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association or Hospice Compassus.
Born on May 18, 1944 in Ottumwa, Iowa, Harold was the son of Lewis and Hearldean “Tootie” (Engel) Sade. On June 5, 1965 in Davenport he married Helga Demko. She preceded him in death on December 29, 2015
Harold worked as an electrician for Koehler Electric in Davenport. Following his retirement, he worked for the City of Davenport as a groundskeeper at Emeis Golf Course, where he hit his one and only “Hole in One.”
Harold enjoyed golfing, fishing, camping and boating. He cherished his time spent with family.
Those left to honor his memory include his children, Kathleen Sade and Mark (Heidi) Sade, both of Davenport and grandchildren, Samantha, Abbie, Axel and Gracie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and brother, Dick Sade.
