Harry Harold Badtram, 91, a resident of Eldridge, Iowa died Friday, February 22, 2013 at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus, Davenport, Iowa.
As per his wishes services will be held at a later date. McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf, Iowa is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Harry was born January 1, 1922 in Eldridge, Iowa the son of Edward and Annie (Blake) Badtram. He was united in marriage to Alta Ewoldt on January 12, 1946 in Davenport.
Harry was a long-time farmer in rural Long Grove, Iowa. He retired from the North Scott School District as a custodian. He enjoyed woodworking and keeping his hands moving.
Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Alta Badtram, Pleasant Valley, Iowa; his daughters, Mary (Richard) Feldpausch, DeWitt, Iowa and Joann (Leonard) Bullock, Bettendorf; his sons, Harold (Donna) Badtram, West Burlington, Iowa and Roy (Deb Burk) Badtram, Donahue, Iowa; his daughter-in-law, Jane Badtram; his grandchildren, Brian (Jennifer) Feldpausch, Karen (Dominic) Hogan, Teresa (Brent) Perry, Koen Symens, Wendy Zaiss, Paul Badtram, Michael Badtram, Brian Klein, Kevin (Kim) Klein, Ashley Badtram, Cyndi Badtram, Todd Bullock, Mark (Kristine) Bullock, Kyle Bullock, Tara Bullock and Tia Bullock; his great-grandchildren, Caleb, Adele and Clarie Hogan, Abby, Nick and Will Feldpausch, Lucas and Hannah Perry, Alex, Arron and Matthew Zaiss, Jaydon Badtram, Kaleb Klein, Brianna Archambault and two on the way; his brother, Edward Badtram, Davenport; his sister-in-law, Mildred Badtram Bennett and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Alice Henningsen and Dorothy Dammann; his brothers, Albert, Robert, Henry and Clarence Badtram and his granddaughter, Ann Feldpausch-Symens who passed away February 16, 2013 in Belgium.
