Heath D. Peterson

Heath D. Peterson, 31, of Waukegan, Illinois, formerly of Bettendorf, Iowa, died Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2008, in Waukegan.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, November 17, 2008 at Bettendorf Christian Church, Bettendorf. Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. Sunday afternoon at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the family.
Heath was born May 12, 1977 in Davenport, the son of Bradley & Wendy (Schumann) Peterson. He was a graduate of Bettendorf High School and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Turfgrass from Iowa State University. He was employed as a Superintendent for various golf courses in the region.
Those left to honor his memory include his mother, Wendy (Douglas Ahnquist) Peterson; his father, Bradley (Cheryl) Peterson, all of Bettendorf; his son, Alexander Hoag, of Dubuque, Iowa; his sister, Sheala (Kristopher) Wentink, of Bettendorf; his brother, Chad Peterson, of Willowbrook, Illinois; his step-sister, Jennifer Swinehart, of Davenport; his step-brother, Anthony Quijas, of Davenport; his grandparents, Marge Schumann and Paul & Shirley Whitbeck, all of Davenport; two nieces; and two nephews.
Heath was preceded in death by his grandparents, Arthur & Iva Peterson and Keith Schumann.
