Helga Sade

Helga Sade, 69, a resident of Davenport, died Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus in Davenport.
Funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 12 Noon on Monday, January 4, 2016 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf. Burial will be at Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services on Monday. Memorials may be made to the Kahl Home.
Born on July 18, 1946 in Castro-Rauxel, Germany, Helga was the daughter of Joseph and Gertrude (Tömshofer) Demko. On June 5, 1965 in Davenport she married Harold Sade.
Helga worked as an LPN at the Kahl Home for 42 years. She enjoyed shopping, spending time with her grandchildren and visiting with the families of her patients at the Kahl Home.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Harold; children, Kathleen Sade and Mark (Heidi) Sade, both of Davenport; grandchildren, Samantha, Abbie, Axel and Gracie; her brother, Werner (Darlene) Demko of Davenport; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Kathleen.
