Hubert W. “Bill” Otto, 64, a resident of Donahue, Iowa died on Monday, July 26, 2010 in the emergency room of Genesis Medical Center, East Campus in Davenport, Iowa.
Private family services will be held. Memorials may be made to the Disabled American Veterans. McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home of Bettendorf, Iowa is assisting the family with arrangements.
He was born February 2, 1946 in Davenport, Iowa, the son of Hubert L. & Ruth E. (Crampton) Otto. During the Viet Nam Conflict, he served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Kitty Hawk.
Bill was employed at the J. I. Case Company of Bettendorf for over 20 years.
He loved the out-of-doors, enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling with Donna and spending time with his beloved family.
Those left to honor his memory include his companion, Donna Arndt; his sisters, Lorena Thomas of Davenport and Angela Hess of Bettendorf; his brother, Larry Paul of Mason City, Iowa; ten nieces & nephews; fourteen great-nieces & great-nephews; one great-great-niece and one great-great-nephew.
Bill was preceded in death by his brother, Robert “Bob” Stanley; and by his parents.
