Iona Marie “Lorraine” McCormick, 83, of Davenport, died Saturday, October 13, 2012 at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in care of McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, 644 River Dr. Bettendorf, Iowa 52722.
Lorraine was born on July 20, 1929 in Buchanan County, VA, the daughter of Robey and Bonnie (Compton) Perkins. On June 28, 1947 in Russel, Kentucky, she married Wetzel McCormick. He preceded her in death.
Lorraine enjoyed camping, fishing, and was an avid Chicago Bears fan.
Those left to honor her memory include her sons and their wives, Jerry and Diane McCormick of Davenport and Richard and Marilyn McCormick of Vernon Hills, IL and; six grandchildren, Tina, Deanna, Dustin, Erin, Matthew and Chad; five great grandchildren; three sisters and one brother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters and two brothers.
