Irene Mae Dipple

Funeral services for Irene Mae Dipple, 87, of Montpelier, will be 1:00 pm on Friday at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf. Burial will follow at Montpelier Cemetery, Montpelier, IA. Visitation will be Friday from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at the funeral home. 

Irene passed away on Monday, July 15, 2024, at the Bettendorf Health Care Center- Bettendorf, IA 

Irene Mae Kinsley was born on April 18, 1937, in Muscatine, IA, the daughter of Grover and Mildred (Brown) Kinsley. She married Wilbur Dipple on January 4, 1959, in New Era, IA. They were later divorced. She managed Dipple Store in Montpelier for 30 years, and continued working part-time jobs. 

She enjoyed bowling, crocheting, sewing, cooking and her family. She was a former member of the Moose Lodge.

Those left to honor her memory are her children, Cris (Donnie) Collins of Buffalo, Beverly Donahue of Wilton, Robin (Alvin) Furne of Florida, Pam (Kevin) Koralewski of Tucson, AZ, sons, Tommy Dipple of Montpelier, IA, Jeffrey (Camy) Dipple of Muscatine, IA, 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and daughter-in-law, Regina Dipple of Blue Grass.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Terry Dipple, three grandsons, Bo Dipple, Austin Wells, Jacob Dipple, brother, Dale Kinsley and sister, Loretta Tetrick.
