Jack H. Serrine

Jack H. Serrine, 85, of Davenport, went to be with God on Sunday, November 24, 2024.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Friday, November 29, 2024 at St. Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church in Davenport. Visitation will be held from 10:30 until the time of the service on Friday at the church. Burial will follow at Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to his family. 

Jack was born January 4, 1939 in Davenport, the son of Harvey & Genevieve (Mohr) Serrine. Jack was united in marriage to his loving and devoted wife Yongho Yi on October 18, 1978 in South Korea.

Jack was an intelligent and hard working man who retired from the United States Air Force where he had served for 28 years. Most recently, he was employed with the Davenport Public Library. Jack enjoyed spending time with his family, reading histories and biographies, listening to classical music and a good nap. 

Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Yong; his daughters, Debra Serrine, Sandra Serrine and Mary Beth Serrine; and his sister, Pella Fisher of Bettendorf.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Cheryl Peel and Marilyn Moore; and his brother James Serrine.
