Jacqualine D. Witcraft, 76, of Davenport passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
A celebration of life gathering will be held from 2:30 – 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 26th at Happy Joe’s Pizza, 201 W. 50th St., Davenport. McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
Jackie was born on February 22, 1945 in Davenport, the daughter of Leroy and Gladys (Meier) Atwood. She graduated from Bettendorf High School, class of 1964. On June 26, 1965, she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Daniel E. Witcraft. Jackie was a devoted wife, mom, and grandma. As a family, they enjoyed camping in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin for almost 50 years. In retirement, she and Dan spent their summers camping and boating on the river.
Those left to honor her memory are her husband, Dan Witcraft of Davenport; daughters, Tammie (Tim) Hutcheson and Tracy Witcraft, all of Davenport; grandchildren, Shannon, Cory, and Keenan Hutcheson, all of Davenport; great-grandchildren, Jayden, Dorothy, and Madalynn; siblings, Daisy (Chuck) Savage of Arizona, Tom (Cindy) Atwood of Princeton, Iowa, Georgia (Lloyd) Roberts of Davenport, Larry (Pat) Atwood of Alabama; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and parents-in-law, she was preceded in death by siblings, Fred Atwood and Anna Hoggard.
