Jacquelan J. Catterall, 78, a resident of Davenport, died Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at Genesis Medical Center-West Campus, Davenport.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, February 10, 2007 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf. Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the Kahl Home of Davenport.
Jacquelan was born October 11, 1928 in Fairfield, Iowa, the daughter of Paul Frank & Mildred Emma (Jones) Clark. She was a 1946 graduate of Davenport High School. She was united in marriage to Bill Catterall in July of 1976. Jacquelan retired in 1983 as a salesperson for the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company.
Jacquelan was an avid reader and bridge player. In earlier years, she was a professional model and she enjoyed playing tennis. She had traveled extensively over the years, she loved attending classical music concerts, and she had also been an accomplished pianist. Jacquelan had also been a portrait artist for many years. She will always be remembered as very cheerful, warm and friendly to her friends and family.
Those left to honor her memory include her son and daughter-in-law, William “Bill” Steven & Susan Pence, of Davenport; her grandchildren, Amy Linville and her husband, Glenn, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Bob Pence of Cedar Rapids; her great-grandchildren, Breanna, Michael, and Paul; her brother, Paul Clark, and his wife Marilyn, of Prescott, Arizona; her sister-in-law, Sandy Clark, of Bettendorf; and her nieces Beth Clark, of Chicago and Taina Brown, and her husband, Jim, of Blue Grass, Iowa.
In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her brother, Richard “Dick” Clark.
