Jacqueline Hines

Jacqueline J. “Jackie” Hines, 64, of LeClaire, passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.  A celebration of life will be held from 5:00 - 10:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 27th at the LeClaire Civic Center.

Jackie was born on June 27, 1956 in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Melvin and Catherine (Herber) York.  In 1982 she married Jimmy L. Riley in Davenport. He preceded her in death in 1997. Jackie enjoyed country music and going to the casino.  Most importantly she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  Jackie was a former member of Sacred Heart Cathedral in Davenport.

She is survived by her daughter, Crystal (Jesse) Prine of Brixey, Missouri; grandchildren, Annie Tudzin, Jacob Cutrell, Austin Jackson, Sabrina Prine, and Dakota Prine; sisters, Marsha (Sandy Downing) York of Cedar Rapids, Pamela (John) Jones of LeClaire, Judy (Carl) Fleetwood of Davenport, and Connie (Vince) Welk of Davenport; brothers, Gary (Sandi) York, Paul York, Pat (Ruth) York, Bob York, and Danny (Theresa) Burton, all of Davenport; her dear aunt, Nette Smith; and her canine companion, Taco.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Jerry York, Melvin York Jr., and Jack Promission; and sisters, Donna Walton, Vivian Washam, Shirley Ballenger, and Darlene Finch.
