Jacqueline L. Hillard

Jacqueline L. Hillard, 72, a resident of Bettendorf, Iowa died Thursday, November 19, 2009 at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, November 23, 2009 at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Chapel, Bettendorf, Iowa. Visitation will be held from 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. on Sunday at the funeral Home. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park, Davenport, Iowa. Memorials may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Jacqueline was born January 11, 1937 in Pierre, South Dakota the daughter of Roy C. and Ruth (Bartlett) Clark. She was united in marriage to Clarence C. Hillard on July 8, 1955 in Bettendorf, Iowa. He preceded her in death on December 31, 1998.
Jacqueline worked as a teller for the Davenport Bus Company, spent many years in telephone research for several companies in the Quad Cities and later worked for the Scott County YMCA. She most recently worked as a cashier for the Super Target in Davenport, Iowa.
She was an avid bingo player and loved playing games on her computer.

(Paul Wakeland) Long, Bettendorf, Iowa; her grandchildren, Travis Leggett, Vienna, Austria, Cody Hillard, Bettendorf, Iowa, Gregory Hillard, Bettendorf, Iowa, Ariana Hillard, Davenport, Iowa and Alicia Puckett, Park View, Iowa; her great-grandchildren, Hunter Hillard, Bettendorf, Iowa, Ecko Puckett, Bettendorf, Iowa, Nolan Klemme, Davenport, Iowa, Kaden Klemme, Davenport, Iowa and Braxton Rohm, Davenport, Iowa; her sister, Donna (Larry) Maxfield, Davenport, Iowa and her daughter-in-law, Anastasia “Staci” Schold, Bettendorf, Iowa.
Along with her husband, Clarence, she was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Charles Hillard, her sister, Kay (Bud) Peitz.
