James Fulton

Graveside services for James Dennis Fulton, 79, of Davenport, will be 2:00 pm on Monday at New Liberty Cemetery, New Liberty, Iowa. James passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022, at Genesis Medical Center – East Campus, Davenport, Iowa.

James was born on August 5, 1942, in Douds, Iowa, the son of Lester and Vera (Manning) Fulton. James worked as a forklift driver for Nichols Aluminum for 15 years, retiring in 1974. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and stock car racing. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Era.

Survivors include his brothers, Larry (Pauline) Fulton, of Davenport, Iowa, and  Harry Fulton of Havelock, North Carolina; sister, Donna Daniels of Davenport, Iowa;  sister-in-law, Margaret Fulton, Maquoketa, Iowa, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Lester Fulton Jr., and Bobby Fulton, and sisters, Darlene Hillard and Dorothy Tedford.
