James Alan Tinnian, Sr., 51, a resident of Bettendorf, died Sunday, March 15, 2015 at his home.
Funeral services celebrating his life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. prior to services on Saturday. Memorials may be made to the family.
Born on October 8, 1963 in Davenport, James was the son of Raymond and Elizabeth (Fairbanks) Tinnian.
James served his country in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged in 1983. He repaired die casts while working for LeClaire Manufacturing in Bettendorf for the past 15 years. James enjoyed racing, NASCAR and watching, “Jeopardy.”
Those left to honor his memory include his sons, Jaime Pizano of Rock Island and James Tinnian, Jr. of Davenport; grandchildren, Antonio Thomas Pizano and Elijah James Tinnian; sisters, Laurie (Jay) Kaske of Davenport and Sandy (Bob) Warner of Muscatine; and brothers, Michael Tinnian of Colona, Illinois and Jason Tinnian of Davenport.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
