Jane E. Boese, 79, of Davenport, Iowa, died Sunday, August 20, 2017 at Crest Health Center in Davenport.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 25, 2017 at Pine Hill Cemetery in Davenport. McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf is assisting the family with arrangements.
Jane was born February 24, 1938 in Waukon, Iowa, the daughter of Arthur & Esther (Bechtel) Hesse. She was united in marriage to Edward Boese on September 29, 1957 in Postville, Iowa. He preceded her in death on April 5, 2005.
Jane had been employed as a cook for several restaurants. She enjoyed camping, playing cards and dancing.
Those left to honor her memory include her daughters Tonya Creasy (Roger Zimmerman) of LeClaire and Lori (Mike) Burson of Davenport; her sons, Jeffrey (Terry) Boese of Davenport and Rick (Cindy) Boese of Davenport; twelve grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and her sister, Vivian Peterson of Postville.
In addition to her husband, Ed; Jane was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; and one brother.
