Janice Cooksey Dudley

Janice M. (Cooksey) Dudley, 69, a resident of Davenport, Iowa died on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at Genesis Medical Center, West Campus in Davenport.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:30 P.M. Friday, March 12, 2010 at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Chapel in Bettendorf, Iowa. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. to 2:30 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family.
She was born June 13, 1940 in Davenport, the daughter of Merle & Helen (Lillis) Sheridan and was a graduate of the former Immaculate Conception High School in Davenport. Janice was united in marriage to Cecil Cooksey in St. Charles, Missouri. He preceded her in death in 1997. She later married Melvin Dudley in Iowa City, Iowa. He preceded her in death in 2006.
Janice worked in production for Vector Plastic in West Branch, Iowa and in earlier years, managed several convenient stores in and around the Quad-City area.
She dearly loved her family and her beloved canine companion, “Tipper.”
Those left to honor her memory include her daughters, Paula (Mike Cady) DePardo of Morrison, Illinois and Kris (Dale) Markin of Davenport; her grandchildren, Shawn Ramsey and Daniel (Ashley) DePardo Jr.; her great-grandchildren, Elijah, Cody, Shawn Jr. and a girl expected in June; and her step-son, Dale Cooksey of Davenport.
In addition to her parents & husbands, Janice was preceded in death by her identical twin sister, Joyce Royse.
