Janis F. Shadden

Janis Fern Shadden, 51, a resident of Davenport, Iowa died Thursday, May 13, 2004 at University Hospital, Iowa City, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 18, 2004 at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Chapel, Bettendorf, Iowa. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
She was born December 14, 1952 in Davenport, the daughter of John T. & Frances Jean (Shoemate) Rank. She married Michael Thompson in Davenport in 1970. She later married Larry Wallace in 1973 in Davenport. She later married Thomas S. Shadden in 1977.
Janis was a homemaker and in earlier years, was employed as a key punch operator at J. I. Case Company in Bettendorf.
She enjoyed crafts, shopping & yard sales, antiquing and the love & companionship of her family.
Those left to honor her memory include her daughters, Kelly Shadden of Davenport and Elisha Shadden of Muscatine, Iowa; her grandchildren, William, Damond, Aziah, Olivia, Jena & Braydon; and her brother & sister-in-law, Gerald & Lorraine Geoghegan of Muscatine.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tessa in 1985; and by her parents.
