Jeanette Quick

Jeanette K. Quick, 82, of Davenport, passed away on Friday, November 2, 2018 at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf.

Her funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the services on Tuesday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park.  Memorials may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or to the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House.

Jeanette was born June 4, 1936 in Davenport, the daughter of Arthur R. & Myrtle K. (Paulsen) Quick.  She attended schools in Bettendorf and in Camanche.  She was employed for many years with TCR Radio and Warren Radio.  An avid Chicago Cubs fan, she was a loving aunt; always dependable for entertaining her nieces and nephews.  She also collected snowman and lighthouse figurines.  Her favorite food group was Fannie Mae.

Those left to honor Jeanette’s memory include her nieces, Kathy (Allan) Alm of Camanche, Cyndi (Dave) Kitchener of Phoenix, Arizona and Tracy Quick of Phoenix; her nephews, Ronald (Vickie) Quick of Davenport and Leonard (Bonnie) Quick of Clinton, Iowa; ten great nieces and nephews; and her nieces-in-law, Kathy Quick of Fulton, Illinois and Cyndy Quick of Canton, Ohio.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Ervin, Louis and Robert; her sister-in-law, Grace; and her nephews, Carl and Roger.
