Jeannie Karr

Jeannie L. Karr, 47, of Stockport, Iowa, formerly of Davenport, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua, Iowa.

A gathering to celebrate Jeannie’s life will be held from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday at the Roosevelt Community Center, 1220 Minnie Ave., Davenport.

Jeannie was born on December 29, 1971 in Davenport, the daughter of Clifford and Sandra (Ritter) Downing.  On July 15, 1995 she married Robert Karr in Davenport.  Jeannie worked as a direct support professional at Silver Palms in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Robert Karr of Stockport; son, Jacob (Brittney) Karr of Davenport; daughters, Holly (Richard) Copley of Davenport, Amy (Cody Ramer) Karr of Morning Sun, Iowa; mother, Sandra Downing of Davenport; sister, Robbin (Rick) Dunn of Davenport; and three grandchildren, Zoey Ehlers, Chloe Karr, and Ryland Karr.

She was preceded in death by her father, Clifford.
