Jeffrey A. Rasche

Jeffrey A. Rasche, 69, of Park View, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at UnityPoint Health – Trinity in Rock Island, Illinois.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Lady Di’s Park View Inn in Eldridge, Iowa. Memorials may be made to the family. Chambers Funeral Home of Eldridge is assisting the family with arrangements.

Jeff was born on July 13, 1955, in Davenport, Iowa, the son of George and Bernadine (Bowman) Rasche. Jeff was a devoted father, brother, and friend, whose unwavering work ethic left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. He was a lifelong carpenter who also found joy in the great outdoors. Whether he was hunting, tending to his garden, or sharing a beer with friends, he embraced life’s simple pleasures. Jeff had a sharp tongue and an even sharper sense of humor. He was a world-class smart-ass, always quick with a joke, a comeback, or a story that would leave you laughing (or shaking your head).

Those left to honor his memory include his daughters and sons-in-law, Joy & Jake Schneckloth of Long Grove, Iowa and Bailey & Kyle Potter of Eldridge; his son and daughter-in-law, Hunter & Ashley Rasche, of Blue Grass, Iowa; his grandchildren, Nash, Nora, Nyle, Jameson, Isabella and Walker; his sister and brother-in-law, Jodi & Jay Bemrich of Princeton, Iowa; and his brothers and sisters-in-law, Jim & Val Rasche of Princeton, Iowa and Joel & Dana Rasche of Dewey, Illinois.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved miniature dachshund and best friend, Andi, who he will undoubtedly be overjoyed to reunite with.
