Jeffrey Roggensack, 63, a resident of Bettendorf, passed away Saturday, January 3, 2015 at his home.
A memorial gathering will be held from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 9, 2015 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Jeffrey Roggensack Memorial Fund.
Born on March 24, 1951 in Davenport, Jeff was the son of Thomas and Marcile (Hollingsworth) Roggensack. On October 6, 1978 at Asbury United Methodist Church in Bettendorf, Jeff married Debbie Schroeder.
Jeff worked for Iowa/Illinois Gas Electric and later Mid-American Energy for 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing and animals, especially his dogs.
Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Debbie; daughter, Lindsey Roggensack of DeWitt; parents, Thomas and Marcile Roggensack of Summerfield, FL; brother, Randy (Kim) Roggensack of Chicago, IL; and his nieces and nephew, Kristian, Jenna and Carly.
