Jerry L. Fusselman, 50, of Bettendorf, passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at his home after an extended illness.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf. Per his request, cremation rites will be accorded. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to benefit Jerry’s son’s education.
Jerry was born May 10, 1963 in Davenport, Iowa, the son of Cletus & Jessie (Catlin) Fusselman. He was united in marriage to Nancy Ferguson on April 9, 1988 in Davenport.
Jerry was a 1981 graduate of Bettendorf High School and received his Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering from Hamilton Tech in Davenport.
He was employed as a machinist with Uniparts Olsen in Eldridge and had enjoyed golfing and fishing.
Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Nancy; his son, Cameron Fusselman, at home; his mother, Jessie Catlin of Bettendorf; his sister and brother-in-law, Sherri Lynn & Patrick Rose of Marietta, Georgia; his in-laws, Larry & Carolyn Ferguson of Bettendorf, Susan Groene of Milan, Illinois, Matthew & Alison Ferguson of Virginia and Patrick & Angie Ferguson of Des Moines, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews.
Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Cletus.
