Jerry A. Appleby Sr., 57, a resident of Davenport, Iowa died Monday, January 25, 2010 at the Genesis Medical Center, West Campus, Davenport, Iowa.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 28, 2010 at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Chapel, Bettendorf, Iowa. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oakdale Memorial Gardens, Davenport, Iowa.
Jerry was born February 11, 1952 in Iowa City, Iowa the son of Homer Louis & Jewel Mae (Hendricksen) Appleby Sr.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and riding his bicycle.
Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Deborah White, Davenport, Iowa; his daughters Gerri Morales, Davenport, Iowa and Violet Cardenas, Arizona; his sons, Jerry Appleby Jr., Albert Hicks, Kerry White and Merle White, all of Davenport, Iowa; seventeen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters and five brothers.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
