Jimmie D. Kane, 50, of Davenport, died Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf. Burial will be in Oakdale Memorial Gardens in Davenport. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services on Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
Jimmie was born on July 24, 1961 in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Marvin LeRoy, Sr. and Mary (Boyjisky) Kane.
Jimmie was a dishwasher for the Hotel Blackhawk and most recently at Bennigan’s. He enjoyed riding his bicycle.
Survivors include: his son, Justin Kane of Davenport; his mother, Mary Kane of Bettendorf; three sisters, Melodie (Michael) Boyjisky of Davenport, Katherine Kane of Davenport and Laurie (Joe) Carpio of Bettendorf; two brothers, Marvin Kane and David Kane both of Acworth, Georgia.
He was preceded in death by his father, wife and one sister, Debbie.
