Jimmy A. Metcalf, 57, of Belen, New Mexico and formerly of Moline, Illinois, passed away on Monday, November 19, 2012 in Belen.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 3, 2012 at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Pleasant Valley, Iowa. Those wishing to attend the service should meet at 1:00 p.m. on Monday at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Jimmy was born July 16, 1955, the son of James W. & Violet M. (Wright) Metcalf.
He enjoyed many activities including watching little league baseball, Nascar racing, and watching the Chicago Bears, his favorite football team.
Those left to honor her memory include his sister, Karen Dugan and husband, John; his niece, Angela Loper; and his nephew, David Bohannon.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his long-time companion, Kathy; his parents; his sister, Doris; and his brother, Wesley.
