Joan Marie Wysocki

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joan Marie Wysocki.  Joan, 68, of Bettendorf, IA., passed away on Monday, November 25, 2024, surrounded by her family at her daughter’s home in Andalusia, IL., There are no services planned at this time. Inurnment will take place at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Libertyville, IL at a later date. 

Joan was born on March 7, 1956, in Antioch, IL, the daughter of Harold and Ann (Kloss) Borchardt. Joan attended Antioch High School in Antioch, IL. She worked at Village Inn, Bettendorf for over 20 years, where she was known as “The Pie Lady”. She enjoyed puzzles, diamond art and doing yard work. 

Survivors include her children, Renee (Shane) Wells of Andalusia, Karen McNeely of Bettendorf, Harold Wysocki of Bettendorf, Victor Wysocki of Mesa, AZ, Joann Burgett of CA, 10 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, brothers, Bill (Pat) Borchardt of Lake Villa, IL, Jim (Lois) Borchardt of Bettendorf, IA, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, baby Randy, sister Kristine Murphy and son-in-law, Shawn McNeely.
