John Brundies, 51, of Davenport, passed away on November 5, 2017 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice in Bettendorf, surrounded by family members.
Per his wishes, there will be no services. Memorials may be made to Genesis Hospice. McGinnis –Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf is assisting family with arrangements.
John was born in Davenport to Elmer and Darlene (Dvorak) Brundies. John was a hard worker and held various jobs throughout his life. In his spare time, he enjoyed being on the river and ‘tinkering’ in the garage.
Left to cherish his memory are his son, Michael Deney; siblings, Bill (Margie), Sue Russell, Steve (Michelle), Rob, Teri Brauer (Steve), Ron (Dana), Julie (Kate Guimbellot), Rick (Linda) and Jim (Maryanne); and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his niece, Nancy, brother-in-law Clifford, sisters-in-law Diane and Beverly.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Genesis Hospitals, Specialty Select, and the staff at Genesis Hospice.
