Jordan Defrates-Martens

Jordan M. DeFrates-Martens, 20, of Davenport, Iowa, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at her home.
Her funeral service will be held at 4:00 P.M., Saturday, February 25, 2017 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the services on Saturday at the funeral home.
Jordan was born July 20, 1996 in Davenport, the daughter of Amber DeFrates and Ryan Martens. She was a 2014 graduate of Davenport North High School and had recently worked at Panda Express in Muscatine.
A loving daughter and sister, Jordan will be remembered for her smile, her laugh and her goofy sense of humor. She was artistic and enjoyed music and songwriting. Always one to wish well for others, she was a protector for her family and was always ready and willing to go above and beyond for her siblings.
Those left to honor her memory include her parents, Amber and Ryan, both of Davenport; her boyfriend, Billy Russell, her sisters, Kiahla Wiseman, Nastassja Wiseman, McKenzie Wiseman, Sidney Latchum, Keyarra Wiseman, Mekhia DeFrates, Jayda Wiseman, Avani Wiseman and Aria Wommack; her brothers, Damarious Gardner, Marcus Dammann, Keeley Hernandez, Nakita Wiseman Jr., Tashon Wiseman, Elisjsha Wiseman, Bre Tompson, Quentin Wiseman, Octavian Wiseman, Lucius Martens, Rhys Martens; her aunts, Michelle (Ron) Coppola and Nichol (John) Fogle; her uncle, Doug (Allison) DeFrates; her great-grandparents, Arlene (Ray) Eickstaedt, Jerry (Mary) DeFrates, Nan Eickstaedt and Timothy Martens; her great-grandparents, Mabel Eckenrod and Florence DeFrates; her nephew, Dominic; and her cousins, Kailyn Lowder, Adrianna Lowder, Robby Lowder, Olivia DeFrates, Drake DeFrates and Haylee DeFrates;
Jordan was preceded in death by her grandmother, Rita Martens; and her great-grandfathers, Gerrell DeFrates & Kenneth Eckenrod.
